Prof. Julius A. Nukpezah was the guest presenter during yesterday’s (September 13, 2022) Seminar held by the Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies (IESS), University of Ghana, Legon. He delivered a lecture on ‘‘Conducting Social Science Research’’ during the virtual Seminar that was well attended by students and the Faculty of the Institute. His presentation elaborated on the different stages of the social science research process including problem identification, literature review, research setting, study, and sampling design, data collection, analyses, and research report writing.

On October 31 2019, the Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies (IESS) student-led Coalition of Students in Urban Advocacy and Research (COSUAR) was launched at the sidelines of the World Cities Day Celebration. The launch was done by the Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. Kwasi Adjei-Boateng and assisted by COSUAR patrons, Dr. Benjamin Ofori and Prof. Chris Gordon of the IESS.
