The Next G Conference seeks to create a platform particularly for the next generation thinkers and academics (young people) in the environment and sustainability fields to discuss and share ideas, research findings and innovative models on key aspects bordering on environment and sustainability issues. Innovative concepts, decision support tools and prototype technologies for climate resilience and waste management among others can be presented at the conference. Accepted papers/concepts will be published in a “Conference Proceedings”. Relevant papers will also be selected after the conference and published in a Special Issue of West African Journal of Applied Ecology. The conference will hold different sessions for “Paper Presentations”, “Sustainability Entrepreneurships Concepts” and “Poster Sessions”. A plenary session will climax the event.
At this stage, you are required to submit an abstract. Important timeliness for the submission of full papers among others have been provided in this call.
All accepted papers/abstracts will be published in a “Conference Proceeding”. Relevant papers will also be published in a special issue of the peer reviewed West African Journal of Applied Ecology.
Conference Fees
This is an online conference and fees will not apply. You will however be required to pre-register before you can join the conference online. Pre-registration details will be provided after the acceptance of your abstracts and before the conference date.
PAPER/CONCEPT – ORAL PRESENTATION | POSTER |
Oral presentations will be allocated 15 minutes for oral presentation and audience discussion. A moderator will facilitate the time limits for discussion. | The poster is an effective method for communicating scientific information through informal discussion. Poster presenters will have the opportunity during breaks and a poster session approximately 1-1.5 hours) |

Session reference and time of presentation will be communicated before the conference. | Posters will be displayed online via zoom on the morning of the conference (7 – 8:15 am) and during poster sessions. |
