Berthy Buah is an MPhil (Environmental Chemistry/Water Resource Management) student of the Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies of the University of Ghana. Before her enrolment, Berthy holds a B.Ed. Science (Biology option), MA Educational Leadership and Management degrees from the University of Education Winneba and University of Ghana respectively, NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management and Professional Certification in Software Engineering (IPMC). Berthy is interested in the analysis of the impact of industrial chemicals on water quality/Land use land cover. Berthy has worked with Students and NASA Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Programme on water quality, land use and land cover over the past 2 years and as the Greater Accra STEM Coordinator for the Ghana Education Service (GES), for the past 5 years. Berthy is a Ghanaian citizen.
