Prof. Komla D. Dzigbede

Professor Komla D. Dzigbede is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Administration at the State University of New York at Binghamton. He is an expert in state and local public finance and international economic policy. His research has high policy relevance for local, state, and national governments and spans topics such as debt issuance and refinancing, budget system effectiveness, tax reform, financial market regulation, and sustainable economic development. He also has extensive international public sector experience from prior work as an economist at the Central Bank of Ghana and as a consultant for international development agencies. Komla is editor-in-chief of the Public Finance & Management journal.
