Dr. Appiah Osei is currently an ARUA Fellow at the University of Ghana. She holds a PhD in Climate Change and Energy from Abdou Moumouni University under the West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) doctoral programme, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Germany, and delivered through a multinational academic partnership involving University of Rostock (Germany) and University of Lomé (Togo). 

She obtained her Master of Science in Environmental Science from Kenyatta University through the Intra-Africa Mobility Programme funded by the European Union. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
