Mr. Christian Drah is a skilled Laboratory Technician with a specialized focus on soil chemical and physical analysis. A proud alumnus of the University of Ghana, he brings extensive technical expertise to the Institute, bridging the gap between field collection and high-precision laboratory results. His primary role involves providing critical technical support to graduate students, ensuring that their research data is founded on rigorous analytical standards. 

Technical Proficiency

• He is proficient in a wide array of standardized soil and plant tissue analyses, including:
• Chemical Analysis: Soil organic carbon (SOC), nitrogen determination, and phosphorus analysis.  
• Physical Properties: Particle size distribution (texture) and bulk density analysis.  
• Electrochemical Testing: Precise measurement of soil pH and electrical conductivity (EC).  
• Complex Procedures: Acid digestion of both plant and soil samples for comprehensive chemical and mineralogical analysis.
