Evaluation Report on Training Programme for Sustainable Development in Ghana

The Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies (IESS) in collaboration with the Environmental Science Academic Program of North Carolina State University, USA, organized a two-week a training programme for 31 participants made of graduate students mostly from the University of Ghana, National Service Personnel, officials from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Ghana and others (Appendix 1). The training covered the period 12th to 23rd June 2017. It was under the theme ‘Systems Thinking for Sustainable Development in Ghana”, and was facilitated by Dr. William. E. Winner, a Professor at the Department of Forestry and Environmental Sciences and Director of Environmental Sciences Academic Programme at the North Carolina State University; and Ms. Heather Troutman, an Environmental Consultant based in Accra, Ghana.
