Graduation Ceremony for Participants of the UOWIAP Project

The UOWIAP project is an action-oriented research project aimed at improving environmental sanitation and also promote agricultural productivity in the Ga-West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. As part of the projects objective of providing skills in compost production and entrepreneurial skills, the project has set up a compost production training facility in Pokuase which is open to the general public.  The training period is a 3 months intensive session which comprises of practical and classroom sessions.

So far, two graduation ceremonies have been held with 32 persons passing out successfully.  The trainees include unemployed persons made up youth, women, men retirees and public servants. The second graduation ceremony was held on Friday 2nd of June 2017.
