Petrina Naapog Gbireh is an MPhil (Sustainability Science) Student of the institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies of the University of Ghana. Petrina holds a B.A degree in Integrated Development Studies, from the University for Development Studies, Wa Campus. She also holds a certificate in Environmental Management in the Oil and Gas industry from the Management and Development Productivity Institute (MDPI).

As part of her certificate research, she investigated the impacts of the Oil and Gas activities on aquatic leaves in Takoradi. Petrina’s research interest is in coastal pollution, coastal policies and sustainable marine protection.
