Esi Bimpong is a second year MPhil student of the University of Ghana. She holds a BSc. in Forest Resources Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a postgraduate Diploma in Education from University of Education, Winneba.
She is passionate about the environment, especially issues pertaining to sanitation and is interested in being a part of the success story in curbing environmental issues in her country, Ghana. Her research interest is in the promotion of re- useable, replaceable and recyclable rather than the single use items. Esi believes that in our quest to develop as a country, the environment must be key. When a nation places the environment first at helm of affairs, economic indicators fall in place. Citizens are in the right frame of good health to increase productivity for economic gains. Esi loves teaching; she undertakes home school tutoring for basic school students.
